Plagiarism Reporting Tool Nuked by UoPeople
It's probably the strangest decision the university has taken. The instructors are already volunteers at the UoPeople. Most in my experience do not detect or report plagiarism unless it is reported to them by the university through students. In my opinion, unless the school comes up with another alternative, it'll pose a serious question on the credibility of the university without a plagiarism reporting tool. I think instructors need to be more vigilant in catching cheaters now. I hope the school brings back the tool or introduces a better mechanism for students to report plagiarism than having them email to instructors, which in my experience, gets tedious for students and overwhelming for instructors.
